We’re looking for an experienced and values-driven Senior Partnerships Lead to join our Advocacy, Communications and Marketing (ACM) team on a parental leave contract basis until September 2027.
In this role, you’ll help strengthen partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that support important community programs including Lifeline Adelaide, while building meaningful connections across the South Australian business community.
Key responsibilities
As our Senior Partnerships Lead, you’ll drive strategic partnerships, sponsorships and business development opportunities that support Uniting Communities’ impact across South Australia.
Working closely with leaders across the organisation, you’ll identify and grow values-aligned partnerships that create meaningful outcomes for both Uniting Communities and our partners.
From networking and relationship management through to events and strategic initiatives, this is a role for someone who enjoys connecting people, ideas and purpose.
In this role, you will:
- develop and grow strategic corporate partnerships and sponsorships
- build strong relationships with South Australian businesses and stakeholders
- identify new business development and income generation opportunities
- support events and initiatives that connect partners with our purpose
- represent Uniting Communities and Lifeline Adelaide across networking and community opportunities.
About you
You’re someone who builds trust easily and understands the value of authentic, long-term relationships.
You’ll bring experience in partnerships, fundraising, business development or stakeholder engagement, along with strong communication skills and a proactive approach. You know how to spot opportunities, bring people together and create partnerships that align commercial outcomes with genuine social impact.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working collaboratively, thinking strategically and being part of a team that genuinely cares about the work we do.
Ideally, you’ll also bring:
- experience in the not-for-profit or social impact sector
- a genuine interest in building and growing meaningful business relationships
- a proactive approach to identifying partnership, sponsorship and engagement opportunities
- confidence managing multiple priorities and engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
