The Senior Solutions Analyst is responsible for driving measurable improvements in operational systems, processes, and insights. Working within the Corporate Solutions team of Technology Services and with autonomy the role leads the design and delivery of practical solutions, owns operational outcomes for assigned systems, and shapes continuous improvement across BAU and small-to-medium initiatives — extracting maximum value from technology investments for the organisation.

Additionally, the role applies strong analytical and system expertise to improve data quality, reporting, automation, and system integration, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards, cyber security requirements, data governance obligations and internal change processes

What you'll be doing:

  • Resolve complex incidents and problems by addressing the root cause, maintaining accountability for the performance and supportability of assigned systems.
  • Govern BAU changes and releases, ensuring approvals, testing rigour, and documentation standards are upheld.
  • Act as the senior liaison for assigned business domains, translating operational requirements into actionable work.
  • Lead business readiness for change.
  • Lead discovery and analysis activities to define business needs, documenting requirements and maintaining traceability.
  • Analyse current and develop future-state processes to support simplification, automation, enhancements, and improvements.
  • Lead small to medium initiatives using approved delivery and change frameworks.

What you'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Relevant professional development in business analysis, service management, systems administration, project delivery, data/reporting, or change management.
  • Substantial experience in senior business analysis, solutions analysis, systems analysis, or a closely related role in a complex service delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated experience eliciting and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements, facilitating workshops, modelling processes, and translating business needs into practical solution options.
  • Experience improving operational systems, workflows, data quality, reporting, and automation, including identifying opportunities for simplification, integration, and control uplift.
  • Experience supporting or leading small to medium initiatives through planning, testing, implementation, change control, and transition to business-as-usual support.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications, service management, system interfaces, and the governance, risk, security, and compliance considerations associated with solution delivery.
