HR Business Partner

UC is on an exciting transformation journey to have an even stronger impact on the community, and the HR Business Partner will play an important role in enabling and supporting the business through this change. You’ll lead complex employee and industrial relations matters, balancing organisational objectives, employee experience, procedural fairness and legislative compliance within a highly regulated sector; and work closely with leaders across the business to provide strategic and operational HR support, including coaching, change management and leadership development.
What you’ll be doing:
- Navigate a diverse workforce operating under multiple industrial instruments, funding models and regulatory frameworks within community, disability, homelessness, aged care and support services
- Partner with leaders to improve team performance and engagement while leading investigations, performance management and workplace matters
- Coach managers through employee relations and change initiatives
- Support workforce planning, succession planning and organisational development
- Facilitate workshops and support leadership capability building
- Collaborate with People & Culture specialists to deliver impactful HR initiatives
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in a HR business partnering role within a medium or large organisation
- Strong knowledge of the evolving SCHADS Award landscape, employment and industrial relations including enterprise agreements, union engagement and workplace legislation
- Proven ability to influence, coach and build relationships with stakeholders
- Experience supporting organisational change and workforce initiatives
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related discipline
