Are you looking for a rewarding casual role that fits around your schedule? Whether you're a student balancing studies or a mother returning to the workforce, we offer flexible hours that work for you.
Due to ongoing growth and increased staff needs across Adelaide’s suburbs, we are seeking qualified Home & Community Aged Care Workers with exceptional customer service skills to support our aged care customers in their homes.
Must Have:
- A current driver’s licence.
- Your own registered, insured vehicle.
- Roadworthy Vehicle Test (conducted at your cost before starting – mandatory for this role).
- Vehicle less than 20 years old.
- First-Aid & CPR.
Some Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Personal care (assisting with dressing, showering, and grooming)
- Medication assistance
- Planning and preparing meals
- Encouraging and facilitating social engagement
- Helping with light domestic duties (vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning bathrooms)
- Contributing to support plans to fit customers’ needs
Skills & Experience:
- A passion for looking after and caring for people
- Willingness to learn new skills on the job and through training
- Exceptional time management skills
- Certificate III in Individual Support/Community Services OR currently studying Bachelor/Master of Social Work (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in aged care or community care is advantageous.
