About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and commercially astute Head of Finance to lead our Finance function and drive strong financial performance, integrity, and insight across the organisation.
Reporting to the CFO, this is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the Finance strategy, ensuring robust financial governance, and enabling informed decision-making that supports sustainable organisational outcomes.
You will lead a high-performing team, oversee financial operations end-to-end, and position Finance as a trusted, value-adding partner to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the Finance strategy aligned to organisational priorities
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management
- Maintain a strong financial control environment and manage financial risk
- Provide high-quality financial insights, modelling, and decision support
- Partner with senior leaders to strengthen financial accountability
- Lead, develop, and build capability within the Finance team
- Support governance forums and deliver reporting to Board Committee
- Oversee the organisation’s Insurance Program
About You
You are a confident finance leader who combines technical expertise with strategic thinking and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
You will bring:
- Significant experience leading a Finance function
- Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence decision-making
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
Qualifications & Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field
- CA or CPA qualification (essential)
- Relevant compliance checks (Police Check, Working With Children Check, NDIS Screening, etc.)
