Uniting Communities are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring person to join our team as an Enrolled Nurse at Glenelg (part time PM shifts, commitment to 5 - 6 shifts a fortnight). Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager you will provide compassionate and high-quality support and assistance to our residents to make a real difference in their lives whilst supporting the resident’s right to choice, independence and dignity.

About you

You will bring the following to this position.

  • Current and ongoing Nursing registration with AHPRA

  • At least 12 months experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a residential aged care setting

  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and all levels of staff

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Providing personal and nursing care to residents

  • Medication Administration in accordance with current legislation and standards

  • Provide direction and support to Care Workers in their day-to-day duties

  • Ensure resident’s comfort and dignity is maintained along with their personal privacy

  • Actively lead the PRD process for Care Workers

  • Contribution to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents care
