Catering Assistant

Are you passionate about food and eager to be part of a kitchen team? We're looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to support our Cook in delivering exceptional meals and maintaining a high standard of kitchen operations.

Join us and contribute to creating a delightful dining experience for our Residential Aged Care Residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Wash, peel, chop, cut and cook food.
  • Collect meal orders from residents.
  • Prepare and maintain dining rooms in a clean, hygienic and safe manner.
  • Ensure that reporting requirements and timeframes are met.

About you

  • Certificate in Basic Food Handling
  • Certificate III in Food Handling (Desirable)
  • Experience working in a busy kitchen/food preparation environment
  • Professional experience in Aged Care hospitality services
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Current flu & Covid-19 vaccinations

  • Monday to Sunday - 06:30AM to 01:30PM
  • Monday-Sunday 4PM-7PM
