About the Role
Reporting to the Training Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, evidence-based training to internal teams and external stakeholders including NGOs, government, and corporate clients.
You will also contribute to continuous improvement of training programs, ensuring alignment with Lifeline standards and best practice learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of training programs, including fee-for-service and DV Alert training
- Facilitate safe, inclusive, and psychologically supportive learning environments
- Collaborate with co-trainers and provide structured feedback to enhance delivery
- Maintain high standards of training quality, compliance, and reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement, audits, and professional development initiatives
- Promote Lifeline services and values across the sector
About You
You are a confident and engaging facilitator who is passionate about mental health, suicide prevention, and community impact.
You will bring:
- Experience in delivering training and facilitating groups
- Professional experience in suicide prevention and/or mental health
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage diverse audiences and manage competing priorities
- A collaborative, values-driven approach with a strong customer service mindset
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
- Relevant qualification or Lifeline Volunteer Training (Statement of Attainment)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Working With Children Check & National Police Check
Desirable:
- ASIST and/or Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Trainer accreditation
- Knowledge of domestic violence and suicide prevention frameworks
