Due to continued growth, Uniting Communities is seeking compassionate and reliable Qualified Home & Community Aged Care Workers to support older South Australians living independently in their own homes across Adelaide's Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern suburbs.
As a Home & Community Aged Care Worker, you'll help our customers maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by providing:
✅ Personal care support, including showering, dressing and grooming
✅ Medication assistance
✅ Meal planning and preparation
✅ Social support and community engagement
✅ Light household duties such as vacuuming, mopping and bathroom cleaning
✅ Contributing to individual support plans tailored to customer needs
Every interaction helps create a positive impact in someone's day.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
✔ A genuine passion for supporting and caring for people
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔ Strong time management and reliability
✔ A current driver's licence
✔ Your own registered and insured vehicle (less than 20 years old)
✔ Current First Aid and CPR certificates
✔ Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services, or similar
