Counsellor Case Manager

Uniting Communities is seeking a compassionate and skilled Counsellor / Case Manager to join our Reconnect team on a part-time basis (3 days per week).
This role focuses on early intervention, working with young people and their families to reduce the risk of homelessness through counselling, family reconciliation and case management.
About the role
You will:

Provide high-quality counselling to young people and families experiencing conflict or housing instability

Deliver mediation, family therapy and relationship counselling

Support young people to re-engage with education, employment and community supports
-
Manage a caseload, including assessments, case planning, reviews and documentation

Deliver services through a mix of office-based and outreach work (homes, schools and community settings)
About you
You will bring:

A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences or equivalent

Experience providing counselling to young people and families
-
Strong understanding of adolescent development and family systems
-
Excellent communication, organisation and case management skills
-
A current unrestricted South Australian driver’s licence
Experience working within youth homelessness or family support services in South Australia will be highly regarded.
