What you'll be doing

As a Care Worker, you'll provide person-centred care and support that enhances residents' wellbeing, comfort and quality of life. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing and continence support
  • Assisting residents with meals, hydration and daily living activities
  • Supporting mobility using safe manual handling techniques and equipment
  • Monitoring resident wellbeing and accurately documenting observations and care notes
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment
  • Supporting wellness, reablement and independence-focused care
  • Working collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals and the wider care team
  • Upholding resident choice, privacy, dignity and cultural safety at all times.

About you

You are caring, reliable and committed to delivering exceptional support to older people. You'll bring:

Essential

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent
  • Experience working as a Care Worker or Personal Care Assistant in a residential aged car
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience documenting care information and using electronic care systems
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care and customer service
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
