Uniting Communities is seeking a Project Officer for a 0.6–0.8 FTE, 12-month fixed-term maternity leave contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful community impact through project delivery, system improvement, and operational support at the Family Relationship Centre.
As part of the Family Relationship Centre, you’ll work closely with the Service Manager and broader team to trial new initiatives, analyse data, streamline processes, and support staff, students, and volunteers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys research and problem-solving, and values meaningful community impact.
What You’ll Do
- Design, deliver, and evaluate a range of service improvement projects
- Provide agile administrative support and help train staff, students, and volunteers
- Develop documentation, process maps, communications, and data reports
- Engage with staff and stakeholders to support service quality
- Contribute to marketing content and centre-wide operational improvements
About You
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience in project work, service improvement, or community services
- Strong communication, organisation, research, and writing skills
- Ability to multitask, analyse data, and work effectively in a fast-paced team
- A positive, proactive attitude aligned with our values of being Kind, Bold and Genuine
Essential checks: Driver’s Licence, National Police Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR.
