Uniting Communities are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring person to join our expanding multi-disciplinary community aged care team as an Enrolled Nurse. The role will be based at our Prospect clinic but will involve you providing high quality clinical care to our clients in their homes. You will work closely with our RN team to support clients with a variety of clinical supports including wound care and medication administration.
About you
You will bring the following to this position.
- Current and ongoing Nursing registration with AHPRA
- At least 12 months experience as an Enrolled Nurse (Or previous Aged Care Experience)
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and all levels of staff
- Previous experience in community aged care is highly regarded
Responsibilities and Duties
- Providing nursing care to clients
- Medication Administration in accordance with current legislation and standards
- Ensure client’s comfort and dignity is maintained along with their personal privacy
- Contribution to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client’s care
- Be involved in multi-disciplinary discussions to improve clinical practice and client outcomes
