Join Our Growing Team – Flexible Work for Student Visa Holders & Return-to-Work Moms!

Due to ongoing growth and increased staff needs in Port Augusta, Mount Gambier, Tanunda, Yorke Peninsula, we are seeking Qualified and unqualified Home & Community Aged Care Workers with outstanding customer service skills to support our aged care customers living independently in their own homes. Your ability to show enthusiasm, positivity, and empathy as you work with our customers and their families is essential to our service. To achieve exceptional outcomes for our customers you will need to be able to work autonomously be resourceful, have a natural ability to build strong relationships, as well as problem solve. Situations can change quickly, and no two days are the same.

Must Have:

  • A current driver’s licence.

  • Your own registered, insured vehicle.

  • Roadworthy Vehicle Test (conducted at your cost before starting – mandatory for this role).

  • Vehicle less than 20 years old.

  • First-Aid & CPR.

Some Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Personal care (assisting with dressing, showering, and grooming)

  • Medication assistance

  • Planning and preparing meals

  • Encouraging and facilitating social engagement

  • Helping with light domestic duties (vacuuming, washing floors, cleaning bathrooms)

  • Contributing to support plans to fit customers’ needs

Skills & Experience:

  • A passion for looking after and caring for people

  • Willingness to learn new skills on the job and through training

  • Exceptional time management skills

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Community Services OR currently studying Bachelor/Master of Social Work (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience in aged care or community care is advantageous but not essential.
